FrontDeskAnswers provides an AI-powered phone answering service for businesses: it answers calls on a business's phone line, assists callers (appointments, orders, questions), and delivers operational notifications about those calls to the business owner. Service is provided under a monthly agreement between FrontDeskAnswers and the business client.
Program name: FrontDeskAnswers Notifications
Who receives messages: only business owners and authorized staff of FrontDeskAnswers client businesses who opt in to text notifications. FrontDeskAnswers does not currently send text messages to the callers who phone our clients' businesses, and does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
What you will receive: operational messages about your business's call activity — post-call summaries (who called, what they wanted, the outcome), callback alerts when a caller needs a call back, and account/service notices about your FrontDeskAnswers service.
How to opt in: during onboarding, the business owner (or a staff member the owner designates) completes the SMS opt-in form at frontdeskanswers.com/sms-consent, entering their name, business name, and mobile number and checking an unchecked consent box. SMS consent is collected separately from the service agreement and is not a condition of purchase; owners who do not opt in can receive call summaries by email instead.
Clients agree to provide accurate business information, to use the service lawfully, and not to use it for marketing blasts, robocalling, or any prohibited messaging content.
Service is billed as a monthly retainer (plus any agreed setup fee). Either party may cancel with notice; no long-term contract is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The service is provided "as is." While we strive for high availability and accuracy, FrontDeskAnswers does not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect transcription, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the prior month of service.
